Why Make the Move To Animal ONE

Animal ONE is a new veterinary practice group with the primary goal of meeting current needs of pets, pet parents and veterinary professionals and resolving many of the problems facing the veterinary industry today. Some of these problems include:

  • Dedicated “burned out” veterinary professionals trying to provide quality care to the ever-growing pet population with limited resources and heavier workloads than can be accommodated 
  • Underutilized technician skills and abilities
  • Expensive benefits, lack of incentives, or ineffective models of compensation
  • Lack of modern technology to save staff time, ensure continuity of care to patients, and effectively and conveniently communicate with pet parents
  • Old medical and office equipment or lack of adequate equipment to meet the needs of patients

We are confident in reaching our goal by utilizing input from veterinary professionals that includes actions such as:

  • Placing a cap on the number of clients serviced by the practice so we can provide optimum care without burning out staff
  • Building our hospital with a high exam room to veterinarian ratio
  • Allowing ample appointment times and save time each day for urgent cases to ensure our patients receive the care they need.
  • Identifying maximum veterinarian hours per day/week and making every effort to afford veterinarians with ample time off to recharge
  • Instituting a high ratio of highly skilled and trained technicians to veterinarians
  • Fully utilizing RVT capabilities to provide care and schedule consultations and educational appointments
  • Designing and fully utilizing office technology to save veterinarian time, aid smooth workflow, enable continuity of care for patients with chronic conditions, aid follow-up task scheduling and monitoring, and provide timely communication between staff and pet parents

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan in available to all staff working a minimum of 30 hours per week each year at no cost to them… that means veterinarians, technicians, kennel workers, CSRs, practice managers … yes, everyone! Contributions are made 100% by the company.

All staff are eligible to participate in our qualified 401k and Roth 401k retirement plans after one month of service. We have resources on hand that can help you make the right decisions for your 401k and Roth 401k based on your age, life circumstances, and future plans.

Medical Insurance

Animal ONE offers a comprehensive medical insurance package with the choice of a HMO plan with 100% employer-paid premiums for you and your dependents or an optional PPO plan.

Dental Insurance

Animal ONE offers a comprehensive PPO dental insurance package and pays 100% of the premium for you and your dependents!

Animal ONE provides a Medical Reimbursement Plan and a Dependent Care Plan that will allow you to reduce your total taxable income and therefore increase your spendable take-home income.

Each full-time team member is enrolled in an Animal ONE provided Life Insurance Policy of one times their annual earnings* with a maximum of $150,000. *Subject to an age reduction schedule.

You can also choose from a variety of voluntary plans, such as Vision, Long-Term Disability, Supplemental  Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Accident and Critical Illness.

Your Working Environment

At Animal ONE, we utilize the most advanced medical and office technology to deliver exceptional healthcare and service and provide an exceptional environment for our professionals to work.

  • Each pet’s wellbeing, the convenience and comfort of pet parents, and the ability of staff to work in the most efficient and enjoyable work environment possible were taken into consideration in the design of our hospitals.
  • Every inch of reception, exam rooms, the surgical suite, and other workspaces have been carefully designed and equipped to provide optimum care. The layout of each hospital supports efficient workflow and the use of glass walls, glass pet enclosures, and strategically placed monitors for viewing patient status offers visibility where and when it is needed.
  • Staff will enjoy working in spacious surroundings with ample storage, convenient access to workstations and equipment to accommodate everyone’s needs. Dedicated spaces include a beautiful reception area, a carefully designed treatment area equipped with wet tables and dry tables, a dental area equipped with the most advanced dental tables, an imaging suite, a well-equipped surgical suite and prep area, a pharmacy, a veterinarian office for making client calls and catching up on paperwork before going home, and a staff break room and restroom. 

  • Veterinarians and RVTs will have access to an ideal number of exam rooms to accommodate smooth workflow; and access to a comfort room for handling end-of-life situations.

  • Staff and patients will appreciate the beautiful modern Casco WellKennels equipped with lighting and temperature controls that provide a stress-free environment for optimum recovery from surgical procedures and other treatments in a quiet calming environment.
  • Our Practice Management Information System (PIMS), and all supporting technology have been selected and configured to save staff time, increase efficiencies, ensure continuity of care for chronic cases, and provide easy and effective communication with each other and our clients.
